Review of Rio (2011) by Tab R — 07 Feb 2014

Blu is the last blue macaw of his kind, or so he thinks as he travels to Rio with his human companion to find his female counterpart Jewel. Very lighthearted humor in this one as they find themselves gettin into all sorts of trouble on their journey (it wouldn't be a movie without that, right?).

They meet some oddball characters along the way, some more odd than others (thieving monkeys anyone?). Critics killed this one, I totally disagree. Definitely a good one for kids as well as adults ð~.
