Review of Rio (2011) by Kayla B — 11 Jan 2013
Gosh what an entertaining film. Props for so many moments (such as the rapping birds, etc.) that could've been so annoying and destroyed this film in turn actually made it better. Looking at the trailer I thought this would be aNNOYING, but it was so genuine It was one of the first films that made me smile and laugh out loud in a LONG time.
The only bad part is the fact that =spoilers= Blu didn't progess or develop into becoming the brazilian bird of his origin. The character development stopped at the bird nightclub scene and it kind of picked up later when he tried to learn to fly, and then only at the last second when he pulled a buzz lightyear.
If they had fixed that, this would be 10/10.
