Review of Rigor Mortis (2013) by Mark C — 01 Oct 2014

A very commendable horror film from HK. It refreshingly opts for dark atmosphere and creepiness rather than jump scares. The "rigor mortis" is being portrayed here as more of a "zombie" than a "vampire" type. Either way, "Geung Si" beats zombies and vampires any day.

Also, this film reaffirmed my long time suspicion that a Director could be a talentless hack who merely sits behind a chair and does nothing, while other people like screen writer, cinematographer, set designer make the movie what it is.
