Review of Righteous Kill (2008) by Joe C — 20 Jun 2009
De Niro and Pacino are NYPD cops tracking down a vigilante serial killer that they suspect is doing an inside job. The duo are fun to watch, unfortunately, the story feels somewhat bland and cookie-cutter with no new surprises or spins on the genre.
Even the big twist at the end didn't really suprise me as much as it should have, although on paper, it must've looked clever. Howevewr, both actors have wonderful chemistry and make this otherwise average crime/thriller worth watching if you've got nothing better to see.
