De Niro and Pacino together again, two movie legends in one film! Shame that they're still both slumming it then, as Righteous Kill is your bog standard run-of-the-mill crime thriller that wouldn't even register were it not for its heavyweight leads.
More a how-and-why-dunnit than a who-dunnit, the duo play NYC detectives with De Niro being the corrupt one of the pair. After a promising enough start it soon reverts to type and boredom sets in. If you want to watch De Niro & Pacino in the same movie then stick with Heat.
