Review of Righteous Kill (2008) by Mike C — 09 Aug 2009

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear....... so I can image the scene at Millennium Films. Two seasoned cops have to search for a serial killer who maybe a cop. But hey we tell you that at the beginning so what keeps the audience interested.

Answer - De Niro and Pacino. Only one problem. The two main leads are so sure of their acting ability that they lose the ability to act. Pacino is the main culprit and De Niro gives an ok performance which to be fare is always a treat.

But the director must have been shaking in his boots when confronted by these two. And please I don't want to see an old man like De Niro giving it to a woman from behind with her shouting "harder, harder" And what is going on with Pacino's hair? How did Jon Avnet go from Fried Green Tomatoes to this? Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
