Review of Righteous Kill (2008) by Philip N — 18 Dec 2009
I had this DVD sitting around for almost a year and only got around to watching it a couple of nights ago - now I regret it.
What a disappointment and another testimonial to how Pacino continues his run of mediocrity and De Niro continues to take paycheck roles. The idea of a pairing sounded great - back in 1995 when Heat came out (which was a far more exciting and engaging film than Righteous Kill). The "twist" ending was so anti-climactic and so easily derived about halfway through the movie.
