Review of Righteous Kill (2008) by Peter H — 05 Jun 2011
The drawing factor of Righteous Kill is that it teams up two of the greatest actors in the history of American cinematography, but this cliche-ridden script is hardly worth their time. Instead of meeting our expectations of effortless brilliance, they end up looking like they are trying to give the producers their money's worth. Neither star can help be anything but excellent, but sparks failed to fly like we thought they should have.
Furthermore, I knew who the murderer was from watching the trailer, and the film's transparent overture of misdirection did not sway me in the least.
