Review of Right at Your Door (2006) by Admiral D — 20 Aug 2007
A sturdy and ambitious thriller put together on a shoe-string and all the more intimate and believable for it. The two leads are phenomenal, particularly Cochrane as he struggles with his character's various moral dilemmas and turmoil.
The claustrophobic set-up which seems so powerful in the early scenes is ultimately the downfall of the film, as scenes and events begin to become slightly repetitive on the way to a "twist" ending which, while bravely uncompromising, is a little out of the blue.
