Review of Right at Your Door (2006) by Ian P — 13 Sep 2007
This starts off well, but kind of loses its way towards the end. The first half hour of the film provides tension and paranoia as multiple dirty bombs are detonated across L.A., but once the central character seals himself into his home - inadvertently leaving his contaminated wife 'trapped' outside - the film's limitations are essentially sealed in there with him, and the plot shifts from the widespread aftermath of a terrorist attack to basically two people waiting for help.
The film loses momentum because of that and though well crafted, is ultimately disappointing.
