Review of Right at Your Door (2006) by Erik G — 17 Sep 2008
Post 9/11 and Katrina, we expect more films that deal with the personal and government response following a terrorist attack or other disaster. Despite its low budget, RYAD is effective in establishing the fear caused by an "information blackout" following such an event.
However, its realistic approach is gobsmacked by a Shyamalan-like twist ending that doesn't quite gel. Worth a rental, though.
