Review of Right at Your Door (2006) by Mychal S — 29 Jul 2010
The first 45 minutes are harrowing and minimal in the best ways, and Rory Cochrane turns in a very believable performance. But the last half wastes that momentum and becomes bogged down in teary conversations and sitting around.
And the ending is kind of stupid too, but a lot more interesting if the film is looked at allegorically. Worth a watch if you're bored.
