A strange road movie of death as one guy walking to meet his mother in hospital sees his life in a different way through the strange array of people who pick him up. A good cast, nicely acted and an interesting story slowly but entertainingly unfolds and keeps us guessing up until the end.
Has a very dreamlike quality to it with the main characters fantasy and second guessing becoming flesh on the screen. the depressed yet interesting lead could have been a real downer but is actually quite engaging while david arquette is def having fun as the guy who picks him up.
Nicely tied up at the end its a mix of kings dark old stuff and his more touching stories like golden years. Dark but never to depressing. a fun little tv movie.
