A rather familiar topic for me, the movie gives solid performances but the storytelling fell short... have not read the book but sounds to me that important aspects were left out in an attempt to add a more hillarious mood to it.
Music is a strong connector in this movie: Zimmer & Pereira's score and songs by the Everly Bros, Vic Damone & Cindy Lauper's, among many others.
