Review of Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles (2005) by J K — 29 Oct 2007
Predictable and rather staid. The funniest part was the height of unintentional comedy. The prison warden was cloyingly caring toward his charges. I doubt prison here is much worse than it is in the U.
S., but it certainly isn't so much better. Zhang Yimou used to be the don, but he hasn't made anything decent for quite sometime now.
