"A box office success despite limited release, the Vietnam War movie Ride the Thunder fails to deliver its promises of depicting the conflict with accuracy. As a Vietnamese-American, this movie was a disappointment -- not a word of Vietnamese spoken.
The audience consisted of high profile war veterans alongside producer Kieu Chinh. The conservative viewpoint creates excessive bias in content, but it is a film to be seen nonetheless. 2 of 5 stars." #40 Years since the War.
