Peckinpah is so awesome. One has to remember that the vast majority of the westernt this time were of a very certain type. This definitely has to be considered one of the first 'revisionist' ones ever.
Whatever I might think about the score (which sometimes is mighty shitty) and the slightly hackneyed story, it's still ridiculous for its time.
