Review of Ride Along (2014) by Jay A — 03 Aug 2014
Stranding Kevin Hart in a movie where all he does is scream, Ride Along severely lacks logic, originality, a coherent plot, and most importantly comedy. Ice Cube barely registers an emotion, Hart fails to do more than frantic mugging, and the supporting cast all go to waste.
The lazily and loosely written script continuously borrows gags and action sequences from better films. Ride Along is the epitome of bad comedies.
