Review of Ride Along (2014) by Josh X H — 22 Nov 2014

Critics be damned this buddy cop comedy flick is hilarious and a great watch. I could easily watch this three more times right away and I honestly hope for a sequel. The laughs are all there, Ice Cube is bad ass but at the same time his characters need to be a total dick kind of bothered me.

I mean how could anyone hate Kevin Hart in this movie. He's like the most likeable dude ever. This movie reminds me of so many classics for me; feels like Friday obviously, but Nothing to Lose, 48 Hours and a few more I wont mention here.

I enjoyed this film a lot and was shocked to see its rating here on RT. At least the Audience seems to know what's up. I went in not knowing much about this movie and I came out laughing. Stand out scene for me was when Kevin tries to bluff an entire room of bad guys whilst in the middle of a arms deal.

I never knew this guy was this funny and scene after scene he had me knee slapping. I'll totally be watching out for his next flicks and like I said before this could be sequelized easily. Don't let the score trick you, WATCH THIS MOVIE!
