Yes Kevin Hart and Ice Cube are hilarious together, but it reminded me way too much of another movie Ice Cube was in: 21 Jump Street. An alternate title could have been "Tyler Perry's 21 Jump Street.
" As far as acting goes we've seen these same characters from Ice and Hart before, maybe in different movies, but Ice Cube the hard ass, like he's a rapper in every movie. Then there's Hart who always seems like he's drank a few Red Bulls before every scene he is in.
A Ride Along with Ice and Hart was a lot of fun but way too predictable.
