Review of Ride Along 2 (2016) by Kevin M — 19 Jan 2016

So this one is pretty simple. If you like Kevin Hart, you will enjoy Ride Along 2. If you don't like Kevin Hart, stay as far away from this one as possible. There are some pretty good chuckles in this one, but 80% come from Hart and the rest come from supporting actor Ken Jeong.

I mean it's a pretty dumb movie with a pretty far fetched plot, but Hart makes it where you don't really care. Ice Cube isn't horrible and does a decent job play the straight/angry guy, but his schtick gets a little old.

I did like the first one better then this one, and as sequels go this isn't anywhere nearly as funny as 22 Jump Street. However, go to a matinee if you are a Hart fan and get a few laughs, otherwise just wait until the dvd comes out.
