The Oscar controversy sparks an engaging discussion and it has to be said the accusational side of the debate certainly has some justification. Idris Elba in 'Beasts of No Nation' and Jason Mitchell in 'Straight Outta Compton' were arguably two deserving of nominations.

But aren't we also forgetting Kevin Hart in 'Ride Along 2'? I mean, what other actor can persevere with the non-stop talking, dumb persona so often? Who else can repeat lines continuously, even if they weren't funny the first time? And in the absence of creativity, what other artistic talent can utilise brillant physical comedy such as a falling off a table or jumping into a fence? His omission was the biggest shock of them all, representing a massive oversight on behalf of the oscar commitee.

That's why I for one am going to give Kevin Hart his due and personally honour him with the best worst comedic actor award. (applause).
