Did it kill anyone else inside waiting for this sequel to be made? No One? Ya me neither. I didn't mind the first Ride Along. It had a lot laughs and was a decent watch. This is a movie for me even though how bad it is, I kind of look forward to seeing.

The second installment brings back the buddy cop duo in Ice Cube and Kevin Hart and we pretty much just get the same movie as the first. I want to challenge anyone that has seen this movie to explain the story as clearly as possible.

Thats right you cant. I had the slightest idea what was plot in this movie. Its not that you necessarily need to know or care, you can get a good grasp of what's going on but the story is not explained well at all.

Kevin Hart and Ice Cube bring back a lot of the same opposite personality chemistry from the first film that can be funny at times but it just gets old after awhile. I'm a fan of Kevin Hart. I think he's a very funny guy.

But he's playing the same role in all of his movies now. It's the same character every time and its becoming an annoying repetitive trait. Surrounded by a bland script, one of the worst parts of the film is Olivia Munn's acting.

Its sooo bad that it is embarrassing to watch and made me cringe. Aside from all the hatred I liked Ice Cube, the film does have some funny parts, and for me it was an enjoyable trip to the movies. Ride Along 2 lacks originality and promise but still provides enough laughs, explosions and chicks to be have a fun time for some movie goers.
