The film doesn't come close to either of the other two, mainly because of the terrible dialogue, over reliance on cuss words and the bitter taste left by the sexist undertones being displayed towards the only female character.
There's too much humor too, which detracts from the tension, and would be as bad if the jokes were actually funny instead of childish.
