In Pitch Black, the darkness brought forth countless alien creatures that were terrifying. In this movie, the endless rain season does the same thing. What weird about it is that the mercenaries have an outpost there that has been there for god knows how long, but the only person who knows about the creatures on this planet is Riddick.
