Review of Riddick (2013) by Jake M — 28 Feb 2014
It's been a long time since I've seen a Riddick movie. This kind of had a Cast Away feel at first as Riddick learns his surroundings and adapts to the new environment, then has an Alien feel when the mercenaries arrive.
Except in this case you're pulling for the Alien to win. Then it switches over to an Aliens feel with Riddick working with the Mercs so everyone can get off the planet. Not great or bad, but an interesting watch.
