Review of Riddick (2013) by Tuukka P — 07 Aug 2014
Thrid chapter of VIn Diesel/David Twohy sci-fi series brings us back to the feel of the original as we find Riddick abandoned on a dangerous planet with bounty hunters hot on his trail. The movie starts very nicely with almosta silent half hour of our anti-hero trying to survive in a hostile enviroment but when the hunters arrive we're treated with cliched characters and surprisingly sexist dialogue and voyerism even from our title character.
CGI is good considering the budget was propably not on par with blockbusters and if you disregard the weird anti-women sentiment you'll get a solid sci-fi actioner with which to spend a lazy evening.
