Review of Riddick (2013) by Omar L — 03 Sep 2014
As usual, the highlight of these movies is the ingenuity displayed by the title character, and Vin Diesel does his usual capable job playing this anti-hero. But by trading in the grand scope of the previous movie for a more confined conflict (like in Pitch Black), the movie immediately reduces the importance of Riddick's character.
As a result, it's basically a one-off adventure that is unlikely to yield any more.
