There was something really neat about this movie, I enjoyed the scenery, the underwater aliens, and the fact that he took one of those scary predators and turned it into his companion. It was well done, and such fun to watch.
When the people show up on Riddick's planet, it stays believable and becomes less of a fantasy and more of a brooding action movie, with jokes, visuals, action and plot. Lots of good performances by Batista, the Spanish guy, the religious guy, I enjoyed the great visuals and story.
