I don't know why it's getting such a bad rap. I liked it - it wasn't too deep, but it was so much fun! The sexism was there but Sackoff's Dahl treated it with style and scorn. I'm new to the Riddick fandom, so I don't know how much my opinion counts for, but this was my favorite of the trilogy.
