Review of Riddick (2013) by Cl 9 — 16 Feb 2015

The Riddick series started out great with Pitch Black, had a major downfall with Chronicles and now with the third entry simply titled Riddick, things stay just about average. There is no mistaking Vin Diesel's character of Riddick is cool and a major bad ass on screen.

Its just to bad that the supporting cast around him had to be so lame and not memorable at all. If the movie focused solely on Riddick it would have been better, but half the film was spent trying to build up this crew sent down to the planet to capture him and they were all plain.

Toward the last part of the movie when the action really picked up it had some fun moments that were reminiscent of the original Pitch Black. If you were let down by Chronicles give this one a chance because it does pump a little fun back into this sci-fi, action adventure that should probably end with this film.
