Review of Riddick (2013) by Walter V — 25 Jul 2014

Vin Diesel returns as Riddick and we found him learning to live on a desolate planet filled with predators. This initial part of the film was quite entertaining and we see him adapt with the planet he is on by picking his fights or avoiding them based on his condition.

The film then shifts to him being the target of bounty hunters and becomes much more standard, but was still entertaining. Riddick returns to its roots and this movie is more similar to Pitch Black, except we have a different race of creatures that are out for the kill, but Pitch Black remains the highlight of the series.
