Review of Ricochet (1991) by John C — 25 Dec 2007
Here is a film that has a decent but very by the numbers screenplay with good dialogue but with the sheer force of two wonderful actors denzel washington as a cop who moves up in the world to mayor after he busted a drug deal and pout away a psychpoath wonderfully played by john lithgow of thrid rock from the sun fame and sends him to jail for twenty years. everything in the mayor's life is coming along very wqell. a wonderful family to support him, great friends, and a wonderful job but there is just one problem. It's Caine who can't let of the mayor. he wants him to pay for what he has done and will do everything he can to hurt him. when he breaks out of jail with his cohorts all hell breaks loose for the mayor as people he loves end up killed and its up to ex cop now mayor to put an end to caine;s reign of terror.
Worth watching.
