Review of Ricky Gervais Live: Animals (2003) by Shane D — 05 Jan 2012

Pretty solid stand up routine (although if you're a fan of Ricky's XFM radio show you had already heard the foundations of a lot of his routines). This was Gervais before his "bad boy" image kicked in post his Golden Globes hosting gigs, as a result its the Gervais most everyone still enjoyed.

Cheeky, irreverent and hilarious, which he still is of course its just now he is teetering on the brink of making his act revolve solely around being a twat. Classic stand up from a comedian not used to stand up comedy.
