I used to love his stand up. Now he just sounds desperate, like someone taking the tops off beer bottles with his teeth at a party while telling everyone how mad he is. He loves the adulation - shamelessly name dropping and banging on about the Golden Globes - but hasn't developed a decent enough response to his critics.

Who stands on a stage and explains his own comedy? There are new kids on the block who leave him standing at this stuff. Maybe they owed him a debt. I reckon it's more than paid.
