Review of Ricki and the Flash (2015) by Kurt N — 23 Jul 2015
"Ricki and the Flash" was more like a flash-in-the-pan banking on the stellar reputation of Meryl Streep. Die-hard fans feel Streep can do no wrong; yet this film did her NO favors. The only redeeming feature of this experience was inviting friends and having free passes to the screening.
This movie will be released on Aug 7 in theaters and probably in Redbox by Aug 8. If you must see the film at least enjoy the disappointment in the comfort of your own home.
