Horrendous trailers made me dread going but I loved it. I'm a momma's boy with ingrate sibs so it was the perfect film to see on mom's birthday. The extended musical sequences were great and I would've welcomed more.
And Rick Springfield proved to be rather effective as the romantic partner for Meryl's Ricki. Not perfect...especially the politics...but big thumbs up from me.
