Review of Ricki and the Flash (2015) by Robert A — 10 Aug 2015

I'm a musician and I know a lot of people just like the Flash. We come alive when we can connect with an audience, even if it's just as a house band. I also know a lot of 50-60-somethings who are living with the results of broken marriages on their grown children.

There is a lot of truth Ricki and the Flash, even if it is sandwiched in between rom-com cliches.I thought Meryl Streep captured the heartbreak of parental failure and the healing qualities of music. Bravo.
