Review of Ricki and the Flash (2015) by Renee D — 10 Aug 2015
This is a solidly ok movie. The music and story appealed to my inner 70's rocker girl with the highlight being Streeps rendition of Drift Away and the suicidal snarky daughter. It never dove too deeply and wrapped up cleanly in a totally illogical way but it also was well acted, simple, pretty amusing and entertaining.
Perfect for an easy Netflix watch or airplane ride.
