Review of Ricki and the Flash (2015) by Lemia L — 14 Aug 2015
Great acting by Meryl Streep and her daughter, as well as Kevin Klein; great music, however, the screenwriting could have used some tweaking. The dark places in the movie lasted too long, the relationship with Rick Springfield should have developed earlier, too much time spent on music.
Not bad. Just glad we were at a theatre that served dinner to make it worth it.
