Review of Ricki and the Flash (2015) by Prentice S — 16 Sep 2015
Mother Meryl Streep really can do wrong, as Ricki and the Flash proves. Even a gimmick, like having her sing Lady Gaga, can't save her cliched, boring, and trivial family dramedy about growing up and surviving divorce.
Considering the team behind this film has won plenty of big awards, it's surprising how off this experience was.
