Review of Ricki and the Flash (2015) by Chipsfliixpix — 24 Jan 2016
The number of bad cover songs played during the movie makes you squirm in your seat, hoping they will end, but they don't. Full-length songs are a very reliable indication of a chic flick, as the director tries to create mood with music, but it doesn't work, and this one is among the best ( wort) examples.
None of the acting was believable. If they got rid of the sex, it might make a good kid's movie.
