Review of Ricki and the Flash (2015) by Ron P — 29 Dec 2016
I found this one somewhat disappointing, especially since it is from Oscar winners Jonathan Demme and Meryl Streep. It follows a washed-up musician trying to reconnect with her adult kids after missing all their important moments growing up.
It's not awful, but just doesn't live up to the potential of all involved. For Streep fans only.
