Review of Ricki and the Flash (2015) by Sara R — 15 Aug 2015
Meryl Streep was amazingly convincing as an aging rock and roll musician. The script was weak in placed. Some of the characters were on dimensional. The anger from some of the Indiana crowd was a bit over the top.
Some stereotypes of the Midwest which were unfair and unnecessary for the story line. Excellent music and Rick Springfield can still rock!
