Review of Revolutionary Road (2008) by Abigail P — 20 Sep 2010
I really liked this film as I related to the characters (they embodied a particular nightmare of mine...) and found it an intriguing exploration of conformity and the restrictive society of the 1950s. It probably says something about me that I liked the (not so) crazy mathematician best of all! I felt it was beautifully acted and deftly told although I can't shake the feeling that this kind of story will always be best told in book form.
Off I go to get hold of the novel...
