Review of Revolutionary Road (2008) by Lindsey W — 05 Dec 2010
This is one of those movies that really gets you thinking about your life and what your searching for, what your yearning for. It got me thinking about mine and take the realization to notice you'll never find fulfillment in the world, in your job, in your wife, or anything.
In the end all that matters to me is finding true fulfillment in the word of the God as "unfullfilled longings will increase my longing for God and for heaven" (Psalm 24:9-10). That's where true fulfillment is and what Hollywood won't address as they fail to fill in that blank.
Even though Hollywood doesn't care about addressing that aspect, they do hint at it to a degree.
