Review of Revolutionary Road (2008) by Valerie P — 16 Feb 2011
This is not the type of film you want to watch when you are feeling at all depressed or disillusioned. The acting was very noteworthy and the story kept me glued to the screen, but it is not the sort of movie I would ever wish to see again.
With such heart-wrenching realism, this script really zeroes in on martial discord. The 1950's setting just adds to the premise, as it was a time when people held back their true feelings more often and concentrated on their "public face".
A bitter plot, but one that many of us can relate to, at least in some way.
