Review of Revolutionary Road (2008) by Carlos R — 29 Aug 2010
A perfectly acted film that isn't perfect because its weird and slow start and the final scene that doesn't have anything to do with the rest and if it's supposed to send some kind of message, I simply didn't get it.
But the merits of this movie are terrific, the story is very well told, there are no plot holes and it's really amazing the way Sam Mendes directed it, showing us these characters and his thoughts and actions, in a way that no many directors can do it.
DiCaprio here is with one of his finest performances, he really surprised me with this powerful acting, and Kate Winslet was also wonderful.
