Review of Revolutionary Road (2008) by Kristine H — 09 Jan 2011
Astounding acting from everyone in the film. There wasn't a false note whispered in the film. Kate Winslet however, blows everyone else out of the water. She is absolutely incredible. Devastatingly real.
The plot is absolutely fantastic. The cinematography makes you feel as though you are right there in the room experiencing the raw, harsh reality of the lie April pulled over her own eyes.
The characters are so brilliantly real! The realtor's insane son is one of the best charaters I've ever come across. He is the truth that no one will voice, for fear of making it real.
This is one among the best films I've seen. Virtual perfection.
