Ninja-licious! (is that even a word? I guess it is now) Sho Kosugi is just too kickass for Revenge of the Ninja to be written off as standard or even hokey. Don't let those pink sashes in the opening massacre detour you; those who like ninjas and/or 80s action flix have a campy/violent gem that contends as one of the best of the lot.
This would make an excellent double bill w/ Story of Ricky or should be the highlight of your own Ninjafest (take it on w/ Enter the Ninja or Ninja 3 if you can find them). I'd give it five stars but one is still lodged in my eye.
